The industrial metal enclosure is an empty enclosure per IEC 62208 with a back plate for control mounting, electrostatic paint and IP65 options (IEC 60529): dust-tight and protected against water jets. For outdoor or washdown service it is specified by IP rating or its NEMA 250 equivalent type.
