This reference is differentiated by high-strength Grade 8 UNC in assorted sizes; it is not fine-pitch UNF or structural A490. The material reported for the lot is heat-treated carbon steel. For class 8.8, 10.9 and SAE grades, selection must respect the requested mechanical property; for DIN 933, DIN 931, DIN 960 or DIN 961, full, partial, standard or fine thread geometry is validated according to the drawing. For ASTM A325, A490 or A394, the project standard defines bolt, nut, washer and assembly. • Apply the torque or tightening method defined by engineering, considering lubrication and coating condition.
• Check grip length and remaining thread so the joint clamps on the parts, not on the thread end.
