The UNF drywall screw from TECTUL is a carbon steel screw with inch thread, used to fasten boards, accessories, and light profiles in drywall systems. Its fine thread works better on metal framing than a coarse wood thread because it bites into the sheet metal without requiring a large pre-drilled hole when the substrate allows it. It differs from black drywall screws by the zinc-plated finish, convenient when better presentation and surface protection are sought in dry interiors or controlled environments.
