The 90 degree grooved elbow changes the direction of a line using grooved couplings, avoiding field welding and facilitating maintenance by sections. TECTUL offers it in iron, per unit, for water networks, fire protection systems, pump rooms and industrial installations where the pipe is already grooved or is grooved in the shop. It differs from a carbon steel butt-weld elbow because it does not require beveling or a weld bead; the joint depends on the coupling, gasket and groove. Compared with a grooved half elbow, this elbow provides a full 90 degree direction change.
