The service saddle is a PVC fitting for sanitary, hydraulic or branch networks where the system requires lightweight parts that resist moisture and are easy to install. It differs from metal fittings because it is not welded or threaded like steel; its performance depends on compatibility with the PVC pipe, the adhesive or seal used and the support of the run.
