The PP fusion branch saddle creates an outlet on a main polypropylene pipe without fully cutting the section. It is used in hydraulic distribution networks, expansions, and points where a smaller-diameter branch must be added. TECTUL specifies it by main pipe diameter and outlet, using real combinations. It differs from a PP fusion tee because the saddle is installed on the existing pipe by localized fusion, while the tee requires cutting and inserting a part in-line. It also differs from a saddle with metal insert because the outlet on this reference maintains plastic continuity.
