The white threaded PP reducing nipple joins female fittings when a male-to-male transition between different sizes or a special length configuration is required. It is used in irrigation, light hydraulic service, equipment connections and maintenance where adaptation is needed without replacing the whole assembly. TECTUL offers it according to the actual sizes in the lot, so the reference must be requested with the exact thread order and length when applicable. It differs from a barrel nipple because it can reduce or vary the configuration; and from a reducing bushing because it works as a male-to-male connector, not as an insert inside a female thread.

We dispatch to Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and all of Colombia. Request a quote via WhatsApp for the white threaded PP reducing nipple, indicating size, fluid, pipe type and quantity to confirm availability.
The price depends on the size, material, connection and quantity requested. TECTUL validates availability and quotes according to the required reference.
It differs by function, material or connection type. Choosing the correct part avoids adapting incompatible fittings and reduces leakage risk.
Install it with clean surfaces, compatible size and the method proper to the material: threaded with sealant, PVC with solvent cementing or PP with controlled heat fusion.
Request the actual nominal size of the pipe or receiving fitting. For reductions and saddles, always indicate the main diameter and outlet diameter.
It depends on the material, fluid, temperature and system standard. Before buying, confirm the application to select a compatible alternative.
Yes. TECTUL dispatches to Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and other cities in Colombia depending on logistics availability.

The dimensions, thicknesses, pressures, temperatures and other characteristics stated in this data sheet are theoretical nominal reference values, compiled from publicly available technical sources: international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, ISO and NTC, depending on the product) and published engineering literature. They are average approximations intended to guide selection, not a certificate of conformity for any given lot.
Actual values may vary due to conditions inherent to the manufacturing process — dimensional and wall-thickness tolerances (in pipe, typically ±12.5%), surface finish and residual stresses from forming or welding — and to factors inherent to the raw material — chemical composition variations within the ranges allowed by the standard, inclusions or heat-to-heat differences. They may also be affected by in-service events not foreseeable at design time: water hammer, vibration, thermal and mechanical fatigue, corrosion and operating overpressures, which can cause the element to fail before its estimated service life.
To know the certified behavior of a specific lot, TECTUL supplies upon request the manufacturer's mill test certificate (MTC) issued per the product standard; for critical applications, laboratory testing of the lot can also be arranged. In the absence of such certification, the data provided here must not be used as the sole criterion in critical or safety applications, or wherever the integrity of the line may compromise the lives of people or property; in such cases, consult our technical team first.
