The grooved strap is an iron fitting for networks with grooved pipe, used when continuity, branching or a configuration change is required without field welding. At TECTUL it is supplied by unit and selected by nominal diameter, groove type, compatible gasket and line service. It differs from a grooved rigid coupling because it does not only perform a coupling function: this part defines the system geometry, whether a branch, a full tee or a mechanical outlet on a main pipe. It also differs from welded fittings because it allows maintenance by sections and reduces hot work on site. For industrial purchasing, it is advisable to validate fluid, temperature, pipe support and project requirements before closing the reference.
