Corrugated PVC hose for industrial and domestic dust vacuum cleaners. Covers 1″ to 2″ nominal diameter (32 to 61 mm outer diameter), in a fixed 15-meter length. Declared vacuum pressure from 10.87 to 11.6 inches of mercury depending on diameter. Designed for efficient suction of dust and particles, flexible and durable. Unlike this catalog's positive-pressure hoses (W/P, working pressure pushing from inside), this hose operates under vacuum: the table value (10.87–11.6 inHg) is the maximum vacuum the corrugated wall withstands without collapsing inward. Inches of mercury (inHg) is the standard vacuum unit for North American equipment; for reference, full atmospheric vacuum equals 29.92 inHg, so these values represent roughly 36-39% of absolute vacuum — consistent with a general-purpose vacuum cleaner, not a high-vacuum industrial system.
The 2″ size allows 10.87 inHg versus 11.6 inHg at the smaller diameters: at a larger diameter, the same corrugated wall has more area exposed to differential-pressure collapse, so the manufacturer lowers the maximum allowable vacuum to keep the same structural safety margin.
That is not its design: it is rated for low-differential-pressure vacuum in vacuum cleaners, not for pressurized abrasive material suction; for that application see the catalog's copper-wire polyurethane hose sheet.

It is the maximum vacuum (in inches of mercury) the corrugated wall withstands without collapsing, not a positive working pressure.
Do not exceed the declared maximum vacuum per diameter; exceeding it collapses the corrugated wall inward.
Respect the minimum bend radius per diameter to avoid restricting airflow or accelerating wear at the bend point.
For abrasive-material or higher-flow suction use a dedicated industrial suction hose, not this vacuum cleaner hose.
The pressures, dimensions, weights and other characteristics in this sheet are theoretical calculation values obtained from nominal properties published in the standards cited (ASME B36.10-2022, ASME B31.3-2024, ASTM A106/A106M-19a, ASTM A53/A53M-24, API Spec 5L 46th ed.). They guide selection; they are not a certificate of conformity for any given lot.
The actual behavior of each lot varies with manufacturing — wall tolerance (up to −12.5%), out-of-roundness, residual stresses — and with the raw material — chemical composition within the ranges the standard allows, heat-to-heat differences. To certify a lot, the tests defined by its product standard are required: tensile test, flattening test and hydrostatic test, documented in the manufacturer's mill test certificate (MTC), which TECTUL supplies upon request; testing of the lot in an independent laboratory can also be arranged.
These values must not be used as the sole criterion in critical or safety applications, or wherever failure of the line may compromise people, property or the environment: in such cases the design belongs to the project's responsible engineer under the applicable code (ASME B31.3, B31.1 or the one governing the installation), with the design temperature, corrosion allowance and load cases of the actual service.
