Heavy-duty hose for transporting concrete from the mixer to the pour site, with a high-abrasion-resistance inner tube and a crush-resistant wall. Covers 1-1/4″ to 6″, in 60 meter rolls, with a working pressure of 600 psi (41.3 bar) at 1-1/4″ to 2″, decreasing to 500 psi at 3″, 400 psi at 4″ and 300 psi at 6″, with a 1:3 safety factor across the range. Service range -30 °C to +85 °C. Abrasion and weather resistant, with six reinforcement plies at every diameter.

The six reinforcement plies are the same across every diameter in this sheet, but W/P drops from 600 psi at 1-1/4″–2″ to 300 psi at 6″. This is consistent with pressure-cylinder mechanics: for the same number of reinforcement plies and thickness, the circumferential tension the reinforcement must resist grows proportionally with inner radius (simplified Barlow's law, T ∝ P·r); at a larger diameter, the same reinforcement construction reaches its limit at a lower working pressure. So diameter is not only a flow-rate question here — it also sets the available pressure ceiling for this construction.
This sheet covers already-mixed concrete (wet phase) transport from the mixer to the pour site. Pneumatic bulk transport of dry cement is a different service (higher abrasion from fine particles, pneumatic conveying pressure rather than wet-mix pumping) not covered by this sheet; check with the supplier if you need that specific application.
Not covered by this sheet: it is for already-mixed concrete (wet phase). Bulk dry cement is a higher-abrasion service requiring specific verification with the supplier.

Confirm the exact W/P for the chosen diameter: working pressure drops from 600 to 300 psi between 1-1/4″ and 6″.
Use high-strength clamps matched to pumping pressure; the crush-resistant wall does not substitute for a proper clamp at joints.
Do not use this hose for bulk pneumatic dry cement transport without confirming compatibility with the supplier.
The pressures, dimensions, weights and other characteristics in this sheet are theoretical calculation values obtained from nominal properties published in the standards cited (ASME B36.10-2022, ASME B31.3-2024, ASTM A106/A106M-19a, ASTM A53/A53M-24, API Spec 5L 46th ed.). They guide selection; they are not a certificate of conformity for any given lot.
The actual behavior of each lot varies with manufacturing — wall tolerance (up to −12.5%), out-of-roundness, residual stresses — and with the raw material — chemical composition within the ranges the standard allows, heat-to-heat differences. To certify a lot, the tests defined by its product standard are required: tensile test, flattening test and hydrostatic test, documented in the manufacturer's mill test certificate (MTC), which TECTUL supplies upon request; testing of the lot in an independent laboratory can also be arranged.
These values must not be used as the sole criterion in critical or safety applications, or wherever failure of the line may compromise people, property or the environment: in such cases the design belongs to the project's responsible engineer under the applicable code (ASME B31.3, B31.1 or the one governing the installation), with the design temperature, corrosion allowance and load cases of the actual service.
