PVC Solvent Cement For Pipe is a TECTUL reference for joining PVC pipe and fittings in compatible pressure, sanitary or vent networks according to the product used. It is purchased by size, presentation and real compatibility with the fluid, not only by commercial name. The base material is solvent cement for PVC and the key difference versus nearby products is its chemical welding function, different from PVC cleaner that prepares the surface but does not replace the cement. In PVC systems, the joint depends on compatibility among material, cleaner, solvent cement and installation procedure. To quote correctly, it is useful to report nominal size, quantity, equipment where it will be installed, fluid, qualitative operating temperature, type of joint and whether the project requires a certificate or technical data sheet. We do not publish a single maximum pressure because performance depends on flange, thread, surface preparation, tightening, curing, storage, temperature, chemical compatibility and commissioning test.

We dispatch to Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and all of Colombia. Request a quote via WhatsApp for this PVC solvent cement for pipe indicating size, quantity, application and certificate requirements to confirm availability and price.
The price depends on size, presentation, material, quantity and availability. TECTUL quotes with the real application to avoid reference errors.
Solvent cement makes the joint; PVC cleaner conditions the surface before bonding and must not be used as an adhesive.
Cut and bevel the pipe, clean both surfaces, apply even cement and assemble to the stop with controlled rotation.
Send size, quantity, material, fluid, photo if it is a replacement, equipment type and whether you need a certificate or technical data sheet.
No. Compatibility depends on material, seal, adhesive, electrode, flange, thread and system operating conditions.
Yes. TECTUL dispatches to Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and other Colombian cities according to availability and carrier.

The dimensions, thicknesses, pressures, temperatures and other characteristics stated in this data sheet are theoretical nominal reference values, compiled from publicly available technical sources: international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, ISO and NTC, depending on the product) and published engineering literature. They are average approximations intended to guide selection, not a certificate of conformity for any given lot.
Actual values may vary due to conditions inherent to the manufacturing process — dimensional and wall-thickness tolerances (in pipe, typically ±12.5%), surface finish and residual stresses from forming or welding — and to factors inherent to the raw material — chemical composition variations within the ranges allowed by the standard, inclusions or heat-to-heat differences. They may also be affected by in-service events not foreseeable at design time: water hammer, vibration, thermal and mechanical fatigue, corrosion and operating overpressures, which can cause the element to fail before its estimated service life.
To know the certified behavior of a specific lot, TECTUL supplies upon request the manufacturer's mill test certificate (MTC) issued per the product standard; for critical applications, laboratory testing of the lot can also be arranged. In the absence of such certification, the data provided here must not be used as the sole criterion in critical or safety applications, or wherever the integrity of the line may compromise the lives of people or property; in such cases, consult our technical team first.
