PN16 RDE 7.4 fusion polypropylene pipe is PP-R pipe for hot and cold water plumbing networks installed by heat fusion. The PN and RDE classifications help select the system, but actual service pressure is validated with temperature, design life and manufacturer table, according to ISO 15874 and NTC 4897 criteria. This page corresponds to the straight pipe of the system, not the compensation pipe for expansion. Its main difference from pressure PVC is the heat-fusion joining method and its use in networks where material continuity at the joint is required.

The price changes by diameter, quantity and availability. TECTUL quotes the 4-meter pipe and compatible heat-fusion fittings.
This product is straight PN16 pipe for conveying; compensation pipe is used to absorb expansion at specific points of the network.
It is installed by heat fusion with the proper tool, end cleaning and times defined by the system and diameter.
RDE relates outside diameter and wall thickness. In PP-R it helps identify the pipe series, but it does not replace the calculation by temperature and service.
Yes, it may be used in hot water networks when the design, temperature and system table allow it.
According to the current lot: 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90 and 110 mm in blue.

The dimensions, thicknesses, pressures, temperatures and other characteristics stated in this data sheet are theoretical nominal reference values, compiled from publicly available technical sources: international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, ISO and NTC, depending on the product) and published engineering literature. They are average approximations intended to guide selection, not a certificate of conformity for any given lot.
Actual values may vary due to conditions inherent to the manufacturing process — dimensional and wall-thickness tolerances (in pipe, typically ±12.5%), surface finish and residual stresses from forming or welding — and to factors inherent to the raw material — chemical composition variations within the ranges allowed by the standard, inclusions or heat-to-heat differences. They may also be affected by in-service events not foreseeable at design time: water hammer, vibration, thermal and mechanical fatigue, corrosion and operating overpressures, which can cause the element to fail before its estimated service life.
To know the certified behavior of a specific lot, TECTUL supplies upon request the manufacturer's mill test certificate (MTC) issued per the product standard; for critical applications, laboratory testing of the lot can also be arranged. In the absence of such certification, the data provided here must not be used as the sole criterion in critical or safety applications, or wherever the integrity of the line may compromise the lives of people or property; in such cases, consult our technical team first.
