304 Stainless Steel Square Ornamental Tube is an AISI 304 stainless steel tubular profile for railings, handrails, frames, enclosures, architectural partitions, and visible industrial furniture. The applicable designation is ASTM A554 (Standard Specification for Welded Stainless Steel Mechanical Tubing), grade MT 304: welded mechanical tubing, not pressure pipe. The square shape facilitates right-angle joints, flat supports, and straight-line designs, so it must not be confused with round ornamental tube or with schedule 10 or schedule 40 pipe for conveyance. AISI 304 is chosen when better corrosion resistance than a 201-J1 option is required, especially in humid environments, moderate outdoor service, or areas with periodic cleaning. Correct selection combines nominal side, gauge or thickness, finish, welding type, and exposure level. If the project is structural, the profile must be reviewed by calculation: the size catalog does not replace verification of loads, anchors, support spacing, or fabrication method.
