The bronze Y strainer is an in-line strainer for retaining solid particles in water networks, light hydraulic systems, equipment feeds, control valves, meters and points where it is useful to prevent sediment from reaching sensitive components. Its Y geometry houses the filtering element inside the body and allows it to be removed for maintenance, without making it a fine water treatment filter.
