03Technical description

A thermowell is the metal pocket threaded into the pipe or tank that houses the thermometer or temperature sensor: the instrument is isolated from the fluid, can be removed without depressurizing or draining the line, and the well is what withstands the process pressure, velocity and corrosion. Stainless steel series with threaded 1/2" process and 1/2" instrument connections; supplied on request.
