Flexible copper tube is coiled copper tubing for assemblies where bends, short runs or field adaptation are required, especially in refrigeration, HVAC and applications allowed by the design. It differs from rigid Type L or Type K copper because it comes annealed or flexible and not in a straight 6 meter length. Selection must consider size, wall thickness, required internal cleanliness, fluid, joining method and applicable standard; ASTM B88 covers copper for water in types K, L and M, while other specifications may apply depending on refrigeration or service.

The dimensions, thicknesses, pressures, temperatures and other characteristics stated in this data sheet are theoretical nominal reference values, compiled from publicly available technical sources: international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, ISO and NTC, depending on the product) and published engineering literature.
