The metal terminal ball valve is a shutoff tap installed at the end of the line: it opens and closes the water outlet with a quarter turn in laundry sinks, patios, gardens and auxiliary equipment. Metal body with 1/2" inlet thread; two Napoli references in the lot, sold per unit.
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Function | Quarter-turn shutoff at a terminal point: the outlet discharges directly, it does not join two pipe runs |
| Body | Metallic; copper alloy (brass or bronze) usual for the type — confirm the lot alloy when quoting |
| Inlet connection | 1/2" thread; lot thread standard confirmed when quoting (NPT per ASME B1.20.1-2013 (R2018) is usual in Colombia) |
| Lot sizes | 1/2" (2 Napoli references) |
| Service | Cold water at point of use; other fluids validated when quoting |
| Working pressure | Not published for the lot — confirm when quoting |

It is a ball-type shutoff tap installed at the end of the line: the inlet threads onto the pipe and the outlet discharges water directly. It operates with a quarter-turn lever and is used in laundry areas, patios, gardens and auxiliary equipment connections.
The in-line valve has connections on both ends and joins two pipe runs to shut off intermediate flow; the terminal valve only has an inlet thread and a free-discharge outlet, so it works as a final point of use.
The terminal outlet discharges freely; whether the lot model has a threaded or barbed hose outlet is confirmed when quoting, along with the adapter needed for the hose to be connected.
The price is per unit in the 1/2" lot size and depends on the reference and quantity. TECTUL quotes via WhatsApp with the actual fluid and installation point.

The dimensions, thicknesses, pressures, temperatures and other characteristics stated in this data sheet are theoretical nominal reference values, compiled from publicly available technical sources: international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, ISO and NTC, depending on the product) and published engineering literature. They are average approximations intended to guide selection, not a certificate of conformity for any given lot.
Actual values may vary due to conditions inherent to the manufacturing process — dimensional and wall-thickness tolerances (in pipe, typically ±12.5%), surface finish and residual stresses from forming or welding — and to factors inherent to the raw material — chemical composition variations within the ranges allowed by the standard, inclusions or heat-to-heat differences. They may also be affected by in-service events not foreseeable at design time: water hammer, vibration, thermal and mechanical fatigue, corrosion and operating overpressures, which can cause the element to fail before its estimated service life.
To know the certified behavior of a specific lot, TECTUL supplies upon request the manufacturer's mill test certificate (MTC) issued per the product standard; for critical applications, laboratory testing of the lot can also be arranged. In the absence of such certification, the data provided here must not be used as the sole criterion in critical or safety applications, or wherever the integrity of the line may compromise the lives of people or property; in such cases, consult our technical team first.
