01Technical description

The 22 mm LED pilot light signals panel states with the IEC 60073 color code: red for emergency or fault, yellow for abnormal condition, green for normal, blue for mandatory action, white for neutral functions. It runs on 24, 110 or 220 V and mounts in the standard 22.5 mm hole.

The 22 mm LED pilot light is an indication light for electrical panels, pushbutton stations and industrial control panels. It displays states such as equipment energized, running, fault, alarm, voltage present or process condition. At TECTUL it is quoted by industrial line in 24, 110 or 220 V voltages and red, green, yellow, blue or white colors, according to panel coding. It differs from the 22 mm industrial pushbutton because it does not send an order to the circuit; its function is to visually indicate a condition. It also differs from the selector because it does not switch modes or command contacts. To specify it correctly, supply voltage, color, 22 mm mounting diameter, panel type and the signal that will activate it must be confirmed, avoiding connection of pilot lights to voltages different from those selected.

Selection guide

  • Confirm available voltage: 24, 110 or 220 V according to the indication circuit.
  • Choose color according to panel function and the plant internal standard.
  • Verify 22 mm mounting before drilling or replacing existing pilot lights.
  • Define whether it will indicate steady state, alarm, run, fault or voltage present.
  • Validate compatibility with the PLC, relay, contactor or auxiliary circuit that powers it.

Mounting recommendations

  • De-energize the panel before connecting the pilot light.
  • Do not mix pilot lights of different voltages without clear identification.
  • Use front marking so the operator understands the signal.
  • Test on and off from the actual circuit condition.

Meanings per IEC 60073 (coding principles for indicators and actuators). Usual LED supply voltages are 24 V AC/DC, 110 V AC and 220 V AC, in the same 22 mm mounting system as the pushbutton range.

02Frequently asked questions

What is the price of the 22 mm LED pilot light?

The price depends on voltage, color, quantity and availability. TECTUL quotes via WhatsApp without inventing published values.

What is the difference between a 22 mm LED pilot light and a 22 mm industrial pushbutton?

The LED pilot light indicates a state with light. The 22 mm pushbutton allows the operator to send a command order to the circuit.

What voltages can be quoted?

The actual lot indicates 24, 110 and 220 V options. The exact voltage required by the panel is confirmed when quoting.

What colors are available?

The lot description mentions red, green, yellow, blue and white. Availability is confirmed at the time of quoting.

How is it installed in a panel?

It is mounted in a 22 mm hole, the pilot body is fixed and it is connected to the corresponding supply signal with the panel de-energized.

What data should I send for a quote?

Send quantity, voltage, color, indication application and dispatch city to prepare the quote.

Why LED rather than incandescent pilot lights?

Because the LED draws a fraction of the power, needs no periodic bulb replacement and keeps stable brightness over the panel's life; incandescent versions survive only as spares for old equipment.

Which pilot light voltage do I order?

The panel's signaling circuit voltage: 24 V with a control power supply or PLC, 110 or 220 V where pilots are fed directly from the control transformer.
