The class 300 spiral wound gasket is a semi-metallic gasket made of a spirally wound metal strip with a sealing filler, manufactured per ASME B16.20-2023 for ASME B16.5 class 300 flanges. The usual construction is 316L stainless steel winding with flexible graphite or PTFE filler and a carbon steel outer centering ring.
