It is purchased by size, presentation, and actual compatibility with the fluid, not only by trade name. The base material is stainless steel 316 with compatible filler, and the key difference from related products is its Inox 316 material and class 300, different from class 150 Inox 316. The reference is selected under ASME B16.20 criteria for spiral wound gaskets when the project requests it. To quote correctly, it is useful to report nominal size, quantity, equipment where it will be installed, fluid, qualitative operating temperature, joint type, and whether the project requires a certificate or technical data sheet.
