01Technical description

The control transformer is a single-phase dry-type transformer per IEC 61558-2-2 that steps power voltage (440 or 220 V) down to the panel control voltage (110 or 220 V). It is sized in VA by adding coil, pilot light and solenoid loads, with margin for contactor inrush current.

The control transformer is a dry-type transformer used to supply control circuits, coils, pilot lights, relays and control elements inside electrical panels.
