304 stainless steel flat washer is a TECTUL reference for distributing tightening pressure in stainless fasteners or assemblies where corrosion resistance is sought in humid or washdown environments. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is 304 stainless steel and the technical family is flat washer for inch threads. It differs because it is flat and made of 304 stainless steel, so it does not perform the same locking function as a split lock washer. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
