316 stainless steel split lock washer is a TECTUL reference for supporting tightening retention in more corrosive environments where 316 stainless steel is needed in inch sizes. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is 316 stainless steel and the technical family is split lock washer for inch threads. It differs because it uses 316 and the larger sizes in the lot, differing from the general-use 304 stainless split lock washer. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
