The DIN 6799 circlip is an E-type retaining clip for radial mounting on shafts or pins with a groove. Unlike DIN 471 and DIN 472 rings, it is not installed by opening or closing lugs with axial pliers; it is pushed laterally until it snaps into the groove. This makes it useful in compact assemblies, pins, linkages and mechanisms where frontal access is limited. At TECTUL it is offered in carbon steel, by unit, with actual sizes from 1.2MM to 24MM.
