EMT is thin-wall galvanized-steel electrical metallic tubing, unthreaded, per UL 797 / ANSI C80.3 (adopted in Colombia as NTC 105), for exposed raceway runs per NTC 2050 article 358. It spans 1/2" to 4" in 3.05 m lengths, joined with set-screw or compression fittings.
