Copper sealing washer is a TECTUL reference for sealing threaded joints, plugs, hydraulic connections or points where copper must deform to help close microleaks. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is copper and the technical family is sealing washer. It differs because its main function is sealing, not load distribution like a steel flat washer. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
