Zinc plated split lock washer is a TECTUL reference for improving tightening retention in inch fasteners where a zinc plated finish and size availability are required. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is zinc plated carbon steel and the technical family is Grower-type split lock washer. It differs because it combines elastic locking function with zinc plated coating, without replacing a load-distributing flat washer. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
