Special yellow zinc plated flat washer is a TECTUL reference for distributing load under a bolt head or nut when more bearing area than a standard flat washer and per-unit purchasing are required. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is yellow zinc plated carbon steel and the technical family is special flat washer. It differs because it is ordered per unit and combines inch diameter with an internal reference in millimeters. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
