In this product the main material is hot-dip galvanized carbon steel and the technical family is flat washer for inch threads. It differs because it is sold per unit and prioritizes galvanized coating, different from light zinc plated or yellow zinc plated finishes. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.

Installation recommendations

• Combine it with galvanized bolts and nuts to avoid coating differences and thread problems.
• Select the size by the bolt's actual diameter, not only by appearance or by the washer outside diameter.
• Remove burrs, rust, loose paint or dirt from the bearing face before tightening.
• Do not stack washers to correct length or misalignment; use the correct bolt size or spacer.
• Inspect the assembly after initial installation if there is vibration or settling of paint, wood, rubber or thin sheet.
