Zinc plated cam washer LY-725 is a TECTUL reference for supporting or positioning components where a large-size LY-725 cam-type washer is specified. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is zinc plated carbon steel and the technical family is cam washer. It differs because it is not a common flat washer: the cam reference is purchased by geometry and specific function. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
