Iridescent fender flat washer is a TECTUL reference for covering wide holes and distributing load over sheet metal, wood, concrete with accessories or surfaces where a larger outside diameter is needed. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is iridescent carbon steel and the technical family is fender-type flat washer. It differs because it is purchased by kilo and has a wider bearing fender format, different from the standard flat washer. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
