Extra-thick flat washer per kilo is a TECTUL reference for buying by kilo flat washers of greater thickness for demanding supports, manufacturing, maintenance and assemblies with irregular surfaces. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is carbon steel and the technical family is extra-thick flat washer. It differs by high thickness and per-kilo presentation, not by anticorrosive finish. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
