Extra-thick flat washer per unit is a TECTUL reference for specific assemblies that need greater washer thickness without purchasing the full lot by kilo. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is carbon steel and the technical family is extra-thick flat washer. It differs because it keeps the extra-thick geometry but is sold per unit for quantity control. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
