Support washer AS-530 is a TECTUL reference for providing support in brackets, auxiliary fastenings and assemblies where the AS-530 reference is specified by maintenance or manufacturing. Its function should be read from the washer type: flat washers distribute load and protect the surface, split lock washers help retain tightening, toothed washers bite into the bearing face, and sealing washers work by deformation or compression. In this product the main material is carbon steel and the technical family is support washer. It differs because it is identified by AS-530 reference and should not be replaced by a standard flat washer without validating geometry. To quote without errors, report size, quantity, bolt or nut type, working environment, required finish and whether the purchase will be by unit or by kilo. We do not recommend substituting with a similar part if the drawing requires ASTM F436/F436M, 316 stainless steel, a specific gauge, hot-dip galvanized finish or a special reference.
